The Alabama State Hornets got production from the three facets of football as they defeated the Alcorn State Braves 38-3.  Offensively, Keldrick Williams had 17 carries for 99 yards and two touchdowns.  Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson completed 80 percent of his passes (20-of-25 attempts) for 321 yards and three TDs while rushing for 14 yards in a 38-3 win over Alcorn State.  Receiver Alvance Robinson caught four passes for 144 yards including touchdown receptions of 43 and 48 yards.  Kicker/punter Anthony Johnson connected on 5-of-5 PATs and connected on a 38-yard field goal while having two punts averaging 33.0 yards per punt.

Defensively, John Hogan led the team with eight total tackles (four solo) with two tackles for loss.  Brandon Averett had two interceptions while Travis Rayford added an interception.  Antonio Cooper led all players with 12 tackles for Alcorn State while Tommy Campbell had 10 stops.

The Braves managed 294 total offensive yards (201 rushing, 93 passing) while Alabama State totaled 505 offensive yards (184 rush, 321 pass).
