 Grambling State University G-Men Roll 53-7 DALLAS (AP) -- Tim Abney had three catches for 57 yards and two touchdowns as Grambling State beat Prairie View 53-7 on Saturday night. Grambling State (1-3, 1-1 Southwestern Athletic) scored 20 unanswered points in the second quarter and led 26-7 at halftime. The only score for Prairie View (2-2, 1-2) came at the 10:19 mark of the first quarter on a 20-yard TD run by Keantwon Gray.Grambling scored on its next possession with a 27-yard touchdown pass by Mark Spivey to Austin Nwokobia. Grambling dominated in the second half, scoring three touchdowns in the second quarter, including a 61-yard run by Ab Kuuan and a 71-yard fumble return by Zaire Wilborn. Abney closed out the game with two touchdown receptions from Brandon Landers. The annual game, called the State Fair Classic, was held at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
